Hungarian parties and candidates accepting campaign contributions from abroad could soon face up to three years in prison

Both Hungary's Fundamental Law and the Electoral Law would be amended under a package of amendments called the Sovereignty Protection Package, which Fidesz submitted on Tuesday evening.
