Before the Hungarian government exited the Russian bank, a financial institution close to the government helped out the IIB

According to internal documents obtained by Direkt36, OTP closed the accounts of the IIB after the war in Ukraine started. The Russian-dominated financial institution then turned to the government-close MKB to open an account.
