334,000 Hungarians disappeared – preliminary census results reveal

The population decrease since 2011 is equivalent to the emptying of the entire county of Veszprém or one fifth of the capital. The first census figures also showed that if it hadn't been for immigrants, there would be less than 9.5 million Hungarians.
